About the Author
Gabriella C. Warner knows what it means to survive, and what it takes to truly thrive.
After nearly four decades of emotional abuse, trauma, and codependency, Gabriella found herself behind a wall she had built brick by brick to protect her heart, only to realize that the wall was slowly swallowing her whole. Growing up in an abusive home, she unknowingly entered a 37-year marriage with a narcissistic, alcoholic husband, spending much of her life believing that if she just tried harder, did more, and got everything right, the anger would stop and the love would finally come. It never did—but grace found her.
Through two unexpected gifts, ballroom dance and golf, God began opening doors Gabriella never knew existed. On the dance floor, she discovered what it felt like to be led with gentleness, move in trust, and experience joy in her own body. On the golf course, she witnessed people living with a freedom, laughter, and love she had longed for. Together, these passions became part of her pathway out of darkness and toward a life she never thought she deserved.
In On the Dance Floor With God: Hope and Healing Post Narcissistic Abuse, Gabriella shares her story with raw honesty and vulnerability. Her journey is a testament to anyone who has spent a lifetime trying to be enough and never feeling like they were. She hopes her story will remind readers that no matter how long they have lived in the dark, healing is possible, freedom is real, and they are never too far gone for God's love and light to find them.
